I’ve been flicking through a lot of sex related articles, and something has stood out to me. First times. Everyone seems to have very different experiences, and this is how I lost my virginity, compared to how some famous pornstars popped their cherries!
My first time was with my at-the-time boyfriend Kai. I had known Kai for almost 3 years and we had been dating for 6 months. We went to a comic book convention, I was dressed in a black Japanese winter school uniform, my hair was cut short in a bob and I carried a wooden sword. Kai was working at one of the booths at the comic convention and we didn’t really see each other until afterwards. We lived in different cities and this convention was close to his house. It was late by the time everything was done, and eventually we made it back to his place. He put on the film 300 which we spent almost entirely making out for. Afterwards he put on Sin City but I never did find out what happened in it. Kai was actually ridiculously well endowed, and my first time was probably one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced, but we had lots of sex for the next 6 months that we were together which was much, much better.
I always thought I lost my virginity at a young age though. When I was a very young girl, I thought it was something that would only happen after marriage. Then when I entered middle school and highschool, other girls were always talking about sex related things. I honestly thought I was the last girl in my class to lose my virginity. This seems more common these days.
For example Courtney Cummz lost her virginity at the age of 13. She says “I was 13 years old and I was in junior high and my girlfriend had had sex, and I was dating this black guy and I heard they had big cocks and I wanted to know.” – meaning that it was fairly normal for girls around that age! Although her first time was in a cave, which isn’t normal!
Brittany Andrews describes “I was probably 12. I met the boy at Summerfest and had sex with him at my girlfriend’s house in her basement bedroom.” whilst on the other end of the spectrum (but not really) Lizzy Borden a “late bloomer” didn’t do the deed until she was 17. She recalls ““I was a late bloomer, so my first time was when I was 17. I was going to be 18, it was right before my birthday. I didn’t want to be a virgin and be 18.” However her views are shared with Joanna Angel who was 19 before she popped her cherry and jokes that it’s “Kind of old for a pornstar!”
I don’t think being in the adult industry should impact when you first have sex. I personally believe that there is an age that is simply too young, and I would certainly say 12 years old or 13 years old crosses that line. At the very least, one’s body should finish going through puberty! A much more important note than physical age, I think, is mental age. There has been a trend of the average age people lose their virginities being lowered, but are those that do have sex earlier on ready for it?
A friend told me that sex isn’t a race. I think it should only be done when you are with someone that you know, care for and trust. It shouldn’t be done because all your friends have done it, or because you think you’re getting too old. It should be a special moment shared between you and the other person. Your first time only happens once and so it shouldn’t be so easily discarded! However tweet me if you think my views are old fashioned, or about your own experiences!
