Thinning hair as guys age is natural, we all probably know that by now. In fact, male baldness is so common that 25 percent of men begin to bald around 30 years old, with about two-thirds either completely bald or having a balding pattern by the time they reach 60. That means thinning hair is the rule more than the exception.
Still, why is it that so many guys freak out at the sight of more skin being visible atop their heads at time passes? Well, outside of the great unknown — not everyone can look like Jason Statham or Kelly Slater when completely bald — it’s the fact that guys think other people will care.

Eat right

In fact, according to Whitney Bowe, MD, a board-certified dermatologist, “One of the first ways I can tell how healthy someone is — and if they’re eating nutritiously — is by looking at their hair.” That means eating things like salmon, vegetables and getting a good source of both vitamins A and C every day.
Reduce stress
We all know that stress is a huge factor in thinning hair, so, when you can control it, try your best to reduce stress as much as possible. A few things that can be done are deep breathing exercises — like yoga or meditation — as well as regular exercise like running or walking. Simply staying active will help clear your mind and save yourself from piling up all of life’s troubles on top of one another.
