Porn is illegal in China, but that doesn’t stop companies from trying to sell it. A Taiwanese firm will be releasing the world’s first Chinese VR porn soon. Other news includes Robert Patterson selling porn in highschool, and Game of Thrones being more popular than porn.

A Taiwanese start-up company called “Pandora Move” is set to release the world’s first Chinese VR porn videos. By Chinese VR porn, however, they mean porn of Japanese actresses and a local Chinese production team.

Adult videos are illegal in China, possibly explaining why the company will not be using Chinese performers. Despite that, many Chinese news outlets are interviewing Ding Baoshan, Vice Chairman of Pandora Move.

He explains in interviews “In the VR film industry, adult movies are the only one with a proven track record for monetization,” whilst other company members have explained “VR adult films will be able to bring in much higher revenues. This is our hope for a new gold mine”.

China has previously arrested companies that have tried to sell the Chinese VR porn. Many companies sold VR headsets with the bonus of them having “free adult videos” already uploaded.

Robert Patterson used to sell porn at school

The international heart throb and star of the Twilight franchise has a naughtier past. Does selling porn make you part of the porn industry? Some could argue it does.

Robert Patterson confesses in an interview that he was expelled from school after being caught stealing porn magazines from shops, and selling them to classmates at school.

“I used to go in and take, like, one or two, and then put them in my bag. I was in my school uniform when I was doing it, and it was kind of risky,” Robert explains “At the end, I got so cocky that I would take the entire rack.”

Eventually, the young star was caught by a shop assistant and his parents and school were informed. “Basically every single one of my friends snitched on me, literally, across the board.”

Game of Thrones more popular than porn

There are some things that are so important for people to watch in real-time that they stop watching porn to do so. Events such as Superbowl would be a good example of when porn traffic drops a significant amount.

Game of Thrones, however, has shown its popularity. During the season 7 premiere, Pornhub traffic dropped by 4.5%. This is an increase since the season 6 premiere where traffic to Pornhub dropped by 4.0%.

Normally Sunday nights is one of the busiest times for people browsing porn. Now with the return of Game of Thrones that is no longer the trend. Game of Thrones porn parodies, however, are in full swing, with a new series soon to be released by Brazzers.
