2nd of January is the sexiest day of the year. That is, the most sex filled day of the year for couples in the UK. Research has found that couples try to conceive a baby on the 2nd of January because they want their child to be born in September – making them one of the oldest in the school year.
It’s not coincidence then that the 26th of September is one of the most common birthdays in the UK. Many believe the 2nd is the key sexing day because it comes after the holiday celebrations but often before people get back into the grind of work. Others believe it’s partly because people are want to fend of the post-holiday, January blues.
But it’s not just the day couples are worried about. Surveys show women in the UK do some pretty crazy things in the hopes of increasing their fertility chances. These includes things such as holding their legs in the air imedietely after sex, and making bicycle peddling motions for three minutes.
37% of women in the survey admitted they ate dark chocolate everyday to help their chances. 3% say they eat McDonalds fries straight after sex, 10% insist on wearing socks to bed during and for a week post sex and 6% try not to orgasm for a week prior to sex.

Silicon Valley’s underground sex party scene
It comes as no surprise to anyone that there’s a bunch of sex parties happening around silicon Valley. With over 30% of America’s venture funding channelled into one place, it’s going to get pretty wild.
Throw in the fact it’s industry is completely male dominated and thriving on “bro-culture” it’s not hard to imagine the debauchary that goes on between those hills.
The parties cater to powerful men within in industry, such as ““powerful first-round investors, well-known entrepreneurs, and top executives.”. The parties are skewered so that women outnumber men by a lot.
Female members in the industry have a harder time attending. Some cited that attending such a party made it impossible for their male co-workers to take them seriously on a professional level afterwards.
“If you do participate in these sex parties, don’t ever think about starting a company or having someone invest in you. Those doors get shut. But if you don’t participate, you’re shut out. You’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t.”
On top of that, rumours spread and you become bogged down in industry gossip. However, many feel pressured to attend because they worry they’ll be socially shunned if they don’t.
The parties are also a hotbed for drug use. It’s so common and prevalent that MDMA, the preferred drug of choice, are cheekily stamped with mainstream brand logos. A lot of lesbian activities also happen at the parties but there’s a distinct lack of gay antics.
10 firefighters needed to remove penis ring
Sex toys are more popular than ever. With an increase in sex toy use, there is also an increase in sex toy related accidents.
One unlucky man managed to get a metal penis ring stuck at the base of his penis. Arriving at Ipswich Hospital, firefighters were called after hospital staff were unable to remove the ring.
The first team of firefighters arrived at 12:35am. They attempted to use lube and hydraulic tools but to no avail. Eventually they requested backup and a second team came and cut away the metal penis ring. The ring was removed at 6:40am after 10 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
London fire brigade has reported an increase in sex toy incidents. There were 27 cases reported related to handcuffs in 2017. They believe the increase in incidents is due to the rise in popularity of 50 Shades of Grey.
