It’s a common belief that it’s guys, not girls, who are into rough sex and hardcore porn, right? Well, don’t be so quick to think that, because a new study from Pornhub proves that girls are watching hardcore videos and like rough sex just as much as dudes, if not more!
The sex study on the topic was brought to Pornhub from Men’s Health, who wanted to get to the bottom of all this rough sex and hardcore porn culture, trying to see if the myth that guys are into it more than girls was true. The information came from three Pornhub categories: Hardcore, Fetish and Rough-Sex, which means the porn site helped distinguish what is described as a little bit rougher than normal; since it’s so objective to different people. Hey, we all need a little direction for these kinds of things!
What the Pornhub research showed was pretty interesting, as one of the popular porn categories, Extreme, has actually been decreasing over the past several years, as the image below shows.
While the Extreme Pornhub category is on the decline, it turns out that men are still really into fetishes, with guys 7 percent more likely to watch those types of porn videos than girls. The most popular age group is between 45 to 64 years old, as the image below shows.
But here’s the real kicker, guys, because this is where your girlfriend may be a bigger freak than you ever imagined. According to the Pornhub research, Hardcore videos are a whopping 75 percent more popular with women than men! And it’s the younger generation of girls who are watching such videos, with the ages of 18 to 24 being the most popular age group. This means that those mid-20 girls are itching for a little hardcore banging, apparently.
That’s not the only surprise from the study, though, because, per the research, Pornhub found that Rough Sex videos are just as popular with the girls, with 63 percent of ladies more interested in that particular category than men. Similar to the Hardcore section, girls between the ages of 18 and 34 are the main culprits, which should be good news for all you guys out there who want to get down and dirty!
