Just when you thought that a condom couldn’t get more advanced, a company has just developed a new condom invention that might just change the way you have sex. And, trust us, it’s for the better, guys.

With all the sex tech that’s out there for people to choose from, one of the most innovative pieces of wearable gear in the bedroom will now be a an i.Con condom, which, much like a Fitbit does while working out, tracks your sexual performance to help gauge activity. Hopefully, the new piece of sex tech doesn’t make you too anxious about how you’re getting down and dirty — and actually use the stats it provides as a way to help improve — which is why the i.Con condom is definitely one of the most innovative male sex toys on the market right now.

According to the website BritishCondoms, which sells the i.Con Smart Condom, here’s the short description of the new tech.

Have you ever wondered how many calories you’re burning during intercourse? How many thrusts? Speed of your thrusts? The duration of your sessions? Frequency? How many different positions you use in the period of a week, month or year? Ever wondered how you stack up to other people from around the world?

The condom invention literally tracks your every move, is rechargeable — offering six to eight hours worth of battery life per each charge — and sends all of the tracked data directly to your smartphone. Things like the number and velocity of thrusts, duration, number of positions used and, of course, the amount of calories burned during sex are just a few examples of data that the i.Con tracks.

To better describe the condom project, here’s what Adam Leverson, the lead engineer on the new condom invention, had to tell LADbible:

“Not only have we innovated the world’s first smart condom ring – that’ll measure pretty much every aspect of performance in the bedroom – but now I’m pleased to confirm that it will also have built-in indicators to alert the users to any potential STIs present.”

With a retail price of $80.99, the i.Con condom is definitely something that would be a welcome sight inside the bedroom — especially for you and your partner to evaluate how you both get down and dirty. And, with a sleek design that is worn like a cock-ring, with it slipping over your penis and is nice and soft on the skin, it’s a little misleading to call it a full-on condom. That said, with the condom invention being one of the more innovative sex toys we’ve seen on the market, it’s something that could lead to even more sex tracking devices to better understand performance.
